Frequently Asked Question

Do my new tires come with a warranty?

Many tire manufacturers offer pro-rated treadwear warranties and sometimes additional coverage for defects. Keep your purchase receipt, as all warranty claims are handled directly with the tire manufacturer. If you purchased your tires from us, we can assist you in starting a claim.

We recommend rotating your tires every 5,000 to 8,000 miles (or roughly every oil change) to promote even wear and extend tire life.

Yes. Wheel balancing ensures even weight distribution around the wheel and tire assembly, reducing vibration and uneven wear. We recommend balancing whenever you install new tires or notice vibrations at highway speeds.

In many cases, yes. If the puncture is in the tread area and not too large, we can patch and plug it from the inside. Sidewall damage or punctures within 1 inch of the sidewall, however, cannot be safely repaired if signs of driving on a tire low in air are found.  These will require replacement of the tire(s).

Here are a few signs:

  • Tread depth is less than 3/32″ (use a penny test or tread gauge).
  • Cracks, bulges, or damage on the sidewalls.
  • Uneven tread wear.
  • Increased road noise or poor traction in wet conditions.
  • If the serial number (DOT) is past 7 years you should consider replacement, we will refuse to install tires that are 10 years or older.

No problem. Our equipment can handle wheels up to 24 inches in diameter. We’ve worked with many aftermarket brands and styles, so your custom wheels are safe in our hands.

Yes, we can install customer-supplied tires. Just give us a call for a quote. However, please note:

  • We do not provide a warranty or accept responsibility for tires not purchased from us.
  • We recommend checking your online tire purchase carefully to make sure it’s the correct size and rating for your vehicle – you will be responsible for covering the cost of lost time if the products you supplied are wrong and we could not install them.

In our region, yes. While all-season tires can be used year-round, dedicated winter tires provide the best traction on snow and ice and are mandated in Quebec from December 1st to April. Many customers keep a second set of winter tires mounted on their own wheels so they can swap them quickly when the season changes. This also reduces wear on your primary wheels including preventing damage due to corrosion from salt and sand applied during winter months.
